Kenneth Paul Gillespie Graveside service for Kenneth Paul Gillespie will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024, in the Davis Crossing Cemetery, 1033 Hwy 113 Glenmora, Louisiana, with Reverend Larry Farris officiating. Military rites will be conducted by United States Marine Corp Honor Guards. Committal services will be under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale. Kenneth, 74, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in his residence. He was born October 13, 1949, in Pineville to the union of Olton Arlis Gillespie and Lacy White Gillespie. Kenneth was a disabled United States Marine Corp veteran. He was a member of Davis Crossing Baptist Church, and he loved his church family. He served as song leader, and deacon of the church. He enjoyed fishing and mowing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Olton and Lacy White Gillespie; two brothers, Dale White and Olton Gillespie Jr. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Doris Ann Doyle Gillespie of Glenmora; two sons, Robert Wayne Gillespie and companion Rhonda Rice of Glenmora, and Earl Edward Gillespie and fiancé Laticia Doyle of Glenmora; two sisters, Judith Gillespie of Ball and Geraldine Gillespie of Pineville; one brother, Edward Gillespie of Tioga; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends. Pallbearers to serve will be Robert Gillespie, Edward Gillespie, Wavie Gillespie, Tra Gillespie, Johnathan Mills, and Tray Parker. Honorary pallbearers to serve will Ethan Absher, Aiden Absher, Jase Gillespie, Adam Smith, and Luther Paul.
