Bio
Troy William Kettler, 59, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away on January 8, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1964 in Richmond, Texas to Roy W. Kettler and Georgie (Trcila) Kettler. Troy was a custodian for the Lamar School District for 32 years and retired at the age of 50 in 2015. He took care of his mother for as long as she lived. His hobbies included racing remote control cars where he would compete in competitions. He also enjoyed going to see new movies and trying new restaurants. Troy will truly be missed. Troy is preceded in death by both of his parents, Roy W. Kettler and Georgie (Trcila) Kettler, and his brother, Roy Allen Kettler. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Kettler; nieces and nephews, Brittney Kettler, Megan D. Kettler, and Brandon Muniz; along with numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Rosenberg, Texas. Tributes and words of condolence may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.
