Fort Bend Herald, July 15, 2018: Georgie S. Kettler, 87, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 in Richmond. She was born March 5, 1931 in Needville to Frank and Sophie Trlica. Georgie was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She retired as a cook for Lamar Consolidated Schools. Survivors include her 2 sons, Roy Kettler and wife, Mary, Troy Kettler; sister, Vlasta Sciba; 2 grandchildren, Megan Kettler and Brittney Kettler; and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Kettler; and brother, John Trlica. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
