Bio

Artharine J. "Archie" Wagner, age 86, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 2, 2022 at Midlands Living Center. Archie was born September 28, 1936 in Belgrade, Nebraska to the late Charles A. and Emma J. (Hellbusch) Moyer. She graduated high school in 1954. Archie married Phil D. Wagner on March 13, 1955 in Grand Island, Nebraska. They were blessed with three children. Archie retired from Iowa Power & Light in 1997. In addition to her parents, Archie was preceded in death by her husband, Phil in 2018; daughter, Debbra Owens in 2016 and 4 sisters. Archie is survived by her sons, Terry (Theresa) Wagner, Tim (Crystal) Wagner all of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Kristin, Stephanie, Michelle and Jeff, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial visitation, Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Food and refreshments will follow at the Spillway Grill & Bar, 1840 Madison Ave. The family will direct memorial contributions.
