Member of the Church of God in Conroe, Texas. Survivors: two daughters, Barbara Jackson of Cleveland, Texas, and Irene Walton of Lordsburg, New Mexico; two sons, Billy Taylor of Conroe and Rev. David E. Taylor of Victoria, Texas; two brothers, Bill Long of St. Maries, Idaho, and Tom Long of Eugene, Oregon; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Service will be held in the Metcalf Chapel of the Pines on Saturday, August 22, 1981, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jack Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Bluff Cemetery in Conroe. Directed by Metcalf Funeral Home of Conroe, Texas.
