Married to My Cousin The Crosby County News and Chronicle Friday, October 3, 2003 Minnie Hindman Graveside services for Minnie Hindman, 87, of Ralls were held at 4PM, Friday, September 26, 2003 at the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Arrangements are the under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. She died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at her home in Ralls. She was born October 2, 1915 in Wolfe City, Texas to John and Pearl Shadden Barker . She married Arvil William Hindman on August 17, 1936 in Durant, Oklahoma. He died on November 11, 1995. She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She moved to Ralls in 1971 from Wolfe City. Survivors include a longtime companion Darnell Thompson of Ralls, a stepson and his wife of Ralls, a brother Ted Barker of Wolfe City, Texas, a sister, Lida Smithey of Floydada, two step grandchildren both of Ralls and three nieces of Floydada, Plano and Bushland.
