Married to My Cousin Crosby County News & Crosbyton Review July 18, 1989 Edie Hindman Services for Edie Hindman, 71, of Ralls were held at 10AM Friday, May 26, 1989, in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Mrs. Hindman died at 4:45PM Wednesday, May 24, 1989, in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born March 21, 1918 in Wolfe City, Texas and married Olan Hindman April 5, 1937 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church. She moved to the Ralls area in 1949 from Wolfe City, Texas. Survivors include: Husband Olan Hindman of Ralls; (daughter, Era Lawan Hindman was born October 1, 1937 and died 3 days later); two brothers, Bert Barker of Ledoni, Texas and Ted Barker of Wolfe City; four sisters, Lillian Setzler of Wolfe City, Minnie Hindman of Ralls, Ruby Barker of Greenville, and Lida Smithey of Floydada.
