Info taken from photo of grave on billiongraves.com. ************ Rites Held For Jerry Kucera Jerry Raymond Kucera, 53, of Eau Gallie, Florida died Friday, August 25, 1978 at 2:30 p.m. in a Melbourne hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Patrick A.F. Base Chapel in Florida, Tuesday, August 29th, with burial in Florida. Mr. Kucera was born in Hill County and lived near Aquilla till he was 16 years of age, then he moved to West where he was employed at Polasek Hardware Co. for 3 years. He then entered the U.S. Army and later entered the U.S. Air Force where he served a total of 26 years before retiring in Florida in 1969. Survivors include his wife Frances; one daughter, Jerri Ellen Proctor of Tacoma, Washington; one son, Dean Raymond Kucera of Eau Gallie, Florida; one sister, Mrs. Martha Stafford of Waco, and a number of aunts and uncles and other relatives in West.
