James Coleman Sharp, Jr., 90, of Krum, TX, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. He was born April 11, 1927 in Commerce, TX to James and Eula (Garrett) Sharp, Sr. He married Hazel Lou Hamlin on April 13, 1945 in Commerce, TX. James served in the US Army. He and his wife, Hazel, lived in Irving, TX from 1962 to 2010 and owned A-Cottage Florist in Irving for many years. He also had worked for Frank Parra Chevrolet as the General Sales Manager. He is survived by wife, Hazel of Krum, TX; three sons, James Gordon Sharp and wife Kathy of Plano, TX, Harold David Sharp and wife Rhonda of Ruidoso, NM, and Bradley Joe Sharp of Sanger, TX; one daughter, LouAnn Vincent and husband Mac of Krum, TX; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Proffer of Dallas, TX. James was preceded in death by parents, James and Eula. Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey with Ken Cone officiating. Interment will follow at Krum Jackson Cemetery in Krum, TX.
