Bio

Ethna Ruth Watkins, 90, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2015. She was a devoted homemaker who for many years was a member of The Angel Collector's Society of Dallas. She was a member of Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eula and Jim Sharp of Commerce, TX; and her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth Neal Watkins. She is survived by daughter Jennifer Eaton and husband Terry of Richardson, TX; son, Greg Watkins of Buffalo, NY; sister, Jean Proffer of Dallas, TX; brother, Jimmy Sharp of Krum, TX; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 12 at 2:00pm, with Visitation preceding from 12:00 to 1:30pm, all at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Published in Dallas Morning News on Mar. 11, 2015
