Hazel Louise Sharp, 91, of Krum, TX, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Krum, TX. Hazel was born December 11, 1927 in Ladonia, TX to Plez and Susie (Thomas) Hamlin. She married James Coleman Sharp on April 13, 1945 in Commerce, TX. Prior to retirement, Hazel was the owner and floral designer of A-Cottage Florist in Irving, TX. She was a Baptist. Hazel is survived by three sons, James Gordon Sharp and wife Kathy, of Plano, TX, Harold David Sharp and wife, Rhonda, of Ruidoso, NM, and Bradley Joe Sharp of Krum, TX; one daughter, LouAnn Vincent and husband, Mac, of Krum, TX; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Plez and Susie;brothers, Clyde Hamlin, Hershell Hamlin, and Hubert Hamlin; and sisters, Pearl Campbell, Demple Johnson, Faye Gutherie and Dorothy Hamlin. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at New Life First Baptist Church in Krum, TX. A funeral service will follow immediately at 12:00PM with Ken Cone officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Vincent, Nick Vincent, Brian Vincent, Kevin Vincent, Don Grundy and Charles Ray Stephens. Interment will be at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, TX.
