Mary Helen Blanton, age 84, passed away on April 23, 2023 in Rowlett, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1939 in Rowlett, Texas to John and Mary Annette Martin. Mary married G.W. on May 31, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2002. She worked for Dr. Jack Rice for over 30 years and has been retired for 27 years. She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Mary loved to ride with G.W. in his 18 wheeler. One of her favorite things to do with G.W. was to go to car shows in his 1950 green Studebaker. She also loved going to eat at Kellers drive-in. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Annette Martin; and siblings, Robert Martin, Johnny Ray Martin, Faye Jones, Mildred Coker, Stella Mae Carter, and David Martin. Mary is survived by her children, Lynn and her husband Rick Woodruff, Susan and her husband Scott Smith; four grandchildren, Jason Woodruff and his wife Angela, Justin Woodruff, Sherri and husband Alan Herrman, Colby Wardlow and his wife Jess; eight great-grandchildren, Courtnie Wittkopf, Katie Gamble, Abbie Woodruff, Cooper Herrman, Brody Herrman, Ella Wardlow, Cole Wardlow, Luke Wardlow; and three siblings, Betty Robinson, Shirley Vitovsky, and Edie Zehr.
