Bio

Euna Faye Simmons-Jones, 81, of Nevada, Texas, died on Friday, August 3, 2018, in Royse City. Faye was born in Dallas, Texas, September 23, 1936 to the late John and Mary Annette (Spence) Martin. Faye worked for many years as a quality control Inspector for Texas Instruments. Faye was survived by her children, John Simmons and Cathy Harper Vincent; five sisters, Mary Blanton, Mildred Coker, Betty Robinson, Shirley Smith and Edie Zehr; eight loving grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and her son, Jerry Simmons. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, 11 August, at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel, Wylie, Texas, with Dr. A.L. Draper officiating. Interment was at Nevada Cemetery.
