Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Saturday, November 24, 1973 COMSTOCK-- Frank Pesek, Sr., 80, formerly of Comstock, died Thursday at an Ord Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ord Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ron Roemmich officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery west of Ord. Mr. Pesek was born Jan. 6, 1893, in Valley County to John and Barbara Stelnocker Pesek. He had resided all his life in Valley County. He married the former Barbara Paider at Ord on Feb. 8, 1916. They farmed west of Ord until 1966 when they moved into Ord. He was a member of the Geranium ZCBZ Lodge. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Libby Osentowski of Grand Island; one son, Frank Jr. of Grand Island; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother, Louis, of Ord. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and four brothers.
