Addie, the daughter of Alexander and Alice Bartley was born July 12, 1911 at Durant, Ok, and passed away Sunday, July 23, 1989 in her home at Sayre at the age of 78 years. She moved with her parents lo Memphis, TX and later to Delhi, OK where she married Ruben Robert Morris on July 11, 1927. After her marriage they lived around the Sayre community until 1934 when they moved into town. Addie received her LPN diploma in 1953 and she worked at the Sayre Hospital for a number of years. Addie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sister and two brothers. She is survived by three daughters; Myrtice Curl of Sayre, Nina Jackson of Weatherford, OK, Shirley Birdwell, Burns Flat, OK; one son, R.C. Morris, Sayre, OK; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grand children; one sister, Myrtle Bell of Memphis, TX. Interment will be in the Sayre Doxy Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.
