Bio

MEMPHIS - Myrtle Bell, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with Tom Posey officiating. Arrangements are by Memphis Funeral Home. Mrs. Bell was born in Myra and was a longtime resident of Memphis. She moved to Amarillo two years ago. She married Herman Bell Sr. in 1925 at Sayre, Okla. He died in 1982. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Herman Bell Jr., and Billy Gus Bell. Survivors include five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Bell home in Memphis.
