Born on April 21, 1930, in Denver, Colorado, Clyde was the third child of Clyde Harold Wilson and Ora May Keatley. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be remembered for his handy, courageous, and generous nature. Clyde's life was marked by his strong sense of duty and service to his country. He enlisted in the military and was honorably discharged from the army after serving with distinction. His dedication and commitment to his country were evident in his actions, both on and off the battlefield. On January 12, 1948, Clyde married the love of his life, Phyllis Pauline Russell, in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Their family grew with the adoption of two children, William Clyde and Barbara Lou, whom they cherished and nurtured with all their hearts. Phyllis passed away November 12, 2012. He worked as a mechanic, applying his skills and knowledge to fix anything and everything that came his way. His strong work ethic and resourceful nature led him to also work as a custom harvester for several years. Clyde's entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he and Phyllis ran a restaurant and bar in Randall, Kansas.
