Griffin Clifford Gregory married Naty Paneta Alford September 15, 1856 in St. Clair County, Alabama. They were the parents of 9 children; William Gregory, Josephine Prescilla Berry, Jefferson Davis Gregory, John Gregory, Molly M. Morrow, Louisa Ann Masoner, Thomas Gregory, Maud E. Jordan, & Inder Sparks. The Gregory family were members of the Pilgrims Rest Church. Griffin is buried in an unmarked grave next to his son, Thomas Gregory in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. The Pilgrims Rest Cemetery is located in Cleveland County, two and one half miles south of Newalla,Oklahoma. Newalla is located in Oklahoma County.
