Married 1) Myrl Toney Schimmels 2) Edwin Alfred Patchin ------- Opal was born in Phillips County, KS on January 2, 1920 to Fred and Ila Parker Martin. She moved to Idaho in 1937. On October 9, 1937 she married Myrl Toney Schimmels in Parma, Idaho. They had 3 children, Doyle, Maurice and (Living). She moved to Caldwell, Idaho after her husband's death in 1951. She worked for J..R Simplot Co. and Crookham Seed Co. She married Pat Patchin on February 9, 1957 and moved to his farm where they lived until retirement. She and Pat divorced in 1974.
