Bio

Gary Ray Ihde was born in Seward Nebraska, on September 24th, 1949, to Thelma and Herbert Ihde. Gary and his 15 siblings were raised in Tamora Nebraska. In 1967 Gary joined the United States Marine Corps, served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1971. Gary and Melanie's love story started in 1994 and they were joined in marriage March 20th, 2001. They were the parents to seven children: Stacy (Tim), Jill (Sarah), Matt, Kristy (Matthew), Phillip (Andrea), Travis (Desa), and Paige (Adrian). Gary was Papa to 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Gary is proceeded in death by brothers; Butch, Ronnie, Bobby and Sisters; Bonnie, Carol Ann, Jenny and Mae. His beloved dog Bengi. Gary is survived by brothers Rick, Darrell (Betty), Terry (Karen) and sisters Kathy (Fred), Alice (John), Debbie (Frank).
