Marcella M. Froscheiser, 93, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born in Loma, NE to Louis and Josephine (Kantor) Mergl. Marcella grew up in Brainard, NE, and graduated from East Butler High in 1940. She worked as a housekeeper for the girls' dormitory at Duchesne College. She also worked briefly for Russell Stover's as a candy dipper, and Amen's Grocery Store. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, polka music, crocheting, baking, yard work and spending time with her family. Survivors: Daughters, Sharon (Jim) McNeil, Mary (Lee) Kunz-Reynolds and Laurie (Jeff) Atkinson; grandchildren: Shawn (Julie) McNeil, Jason Kunz and Erin (Bill) Simmons; great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Florissa, Erica, Makayla and Tanner; sisters: Marie Witzel and Marge Novotny;brother: Al Mergl; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Alex, parents, son Steven Froscheiser; twin infant brother and sister; brothers Louie and Joe Mergl; sister Regina Maloney. (Obituary from Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home)
