buried next to Ada C. Christian. — — — Rocky Mountain News, January 9, 1943 Robert James Christian Robert James Christian, 1854 Stout st., former U. S. Marine, died yesterday in the police surgeon's office while waiting the return of the doctor. He was 18. Christian, a grocery employe, was on his way to work when he collapsed at 15th and Curtis sts. Military police were summoned and had taken him to the police station for treatment. An autopsy performed by Deputy Coroner Gus Economy found his death to be due to natural causes. A Denver resident for 13 years, Christian was given a medical discharge from the marine corps Oct. 1, following a year's service. He formerly attended Blessed Sacrament and St. Joseph's Schools here. He was born Oct. 25, 1924, in Wagon Mound, N. M. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Christian; a brother, Alva, and three sisters, Irma and Lorraine Christian of Denver, and Mrs. Pearl Wingert of Wagon Mound, N. M.
