Elizabeth T. Licka Elizabeth T. Licka, 82, of Granger, Texas passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008, at her home. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. with Rosary recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Celebration of Life Mass services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger. Elizabeth was born on Oct. 13, 1925 in Granger, the daughter of Thomas and Emma Strmiska. She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Donald Kovar and wife Anna of Taylor, Susan Leamer and husband Patrick of Pendleton, Michael Janak and family of Rowe Valley, Joannie Licka and Wayne Michalik of Granger, Debbie Gilmore and husband Shelton of Bartlett, Emil Licka Jr. and wife Wendy and family of Lewisville; and sisters, Mary Simcik and family of Granger and Martha Martinka and husband Paul of Georgetown; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
