Bio
Funeral services for Addie High Daniel Brodnax White, age 93, of Bastrop, LA, were at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 6, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA, with Rev. Cal Adams officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. White, a retired Morehouse Parish school teacher passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007, at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, Campers on Mission, Kappa Kappa Iota and former Worthy Grand Matron in the Sunny South Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Fran Daniel Kemper and husband Royal of Bastrop; two sons, Robert Glenn Daniel and wife Ina of Monroe, LA, and Billy Joe Daniel and wife Sandra of Calhoun, LA; a brother, Horace High formerly of Bastrop, now of Topeka, Kansas; a sister in-law, Catherine High of Hamburg; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Hattie High; a son in-law, Jim Mahoney; ten brothers and sisters; her first husband and father of her children, James Ivan Daniel; her second husband Edwin Brodnax and her third husband, Archie White. Pallbearers were Patrick Daniel, Mike Mahoney, Steve Mahoney, Bobby Nugent and Jerry Goodman.
