Bio

Virginia EUBANK was a daughter of James Moss Taylor & Mary Ann McCOY_EUBANK. The family moved from Kentucky afer the Civil War and settled in Edgar Co. Illinois. Their farm was adjacent to the farm of Thomas Bradley & Esther D. Griest ROTH. She married one of their sons: Jonas Specht ROTH. She & Jonas had seven children. They moved from Illinois to the Douglas Grove area of Custer Co. Nebraska in 1879 by Conestoga Wagon with three sons, Clifford Ivan, Richard Edgar and William Bradley. They had the other four children in Custer Co. in a Sod House. She & Jonas are both buried in the Douglas Grove Cemetery near Comstock, Custer Co. Nebraska.
