Bio
Kenneth was born June 1, 1930, in Anderson County, Texas to Alton Samuel Pheonix and Ola Mae Betsill. Kenneth grew up in Slocum, Texas, and graduated from Slocum High School in 1948. He moved to Houston, Texas where he worked as a baker at Nabisco and retired after 39 years.Then he started his 2nd occupation as a small ranch owner until his passing. He was a member of Days Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jane Gilmore Pheonix, 1 brother and 2 sisters, and son-in-law Steven D. Sparks.
