Bio

Janet June Grossnicklaus, age 66, of Shelby, Nebraska, passed away November 13, 2022 at her home in Shelby. Janet was born August 8, 1956 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Robert D. and Agnes F. (Vyhlidal) Kloke. She attended elementary school at Sacred Heart Catholic school. The family moved to David City in 1965 where she attended St. Mary's and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1975. Janet worked for Hughes Brothers Inc. and then Double Dutch Dairy. She also cooked for Meals on Wheels in Stromsburg. On August 18, 1990 she was united in marriage to Tim Grossnicklaus in Seward. They made their home in rural Shelby. Janet enjoyed staying at their cabin, fishing, collecting antiques and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Agnes Kloke and brother Roger Kloke. Inurnment will be in the Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
