In Memory of Roger Kloke April 1, 1951 ~ August 15, 2014 Roger Kloke, age 63, of David City, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Lincoln. He was born April 1, 1951, in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Robert D. and Agnes (Vyhlidal) Kloke. Roger attended schools in Norfolk and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1969. On August 26, 1978, he married Margaret Havlovic at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague. They lived in David City and Roger worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads for 39 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, woodworking and loved sharing his great sense of humor with his friends. His greatest love was time with family and spoiling his grandson. Roger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the NRA, the Explorer's Outdoor Club and liked cooking, trap shooting and firing muzzle loaders. He is survived by: his wife, Margaret; son, Kevin; daughter, Kate and her fiance Kyle Nienhueser; mother, Agnes Kloke; sisters, Pat (Randy) Sanley and Jan (Tim) Grossnickalus; brother, Ken (Ruth) Kloke; grandson, Keaton Kloke; mother-in-law, Marie Havlovic; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Kloke; and father-in-law, Joseph W. Havlovic. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
