JAMES DEAN TROXEL August 20, 1937 ˜ November 1, 2022 Jim passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 1, 2022. He was born in Sargent, Nebraska,to John and Eva Troxel. They moved to Vancouver, Washington when he was young. Jim graduated from Vancouver High School. He joined the Air Force and spent time overseas in Europe. Jim settled back home in Vancouver, met and married Linda Diltz. Jim loved the outdoors, fishing, skiing, hiking. He was very handy in constructing most of his home, woodworking, and working on all types of vehicles. He also enjoyed lots of sports including judo, basketball, coaching soccer and softball. Jim is survived by his daughter, Nancy Gifford; and son, Steven; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Published in The Columbian, Vancouver, Washington on November 13, 2022.
