Kalimanis Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) (Published as Oregonian , The (Portland, OR) ) - April 2, 1998 0 A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 1998, in Christ United Methodist Church for Ramona J. Kalimanis, who died March 27 at age 62. Mrs. Kalimanis was born Aug. 9, 1935, in Sargeant, Neb., and was raised in Vancouver, Wash. Her maiden name was Troxel. In 1955, she married Tom, and they moved to Portland. She was a switchboard operator for Swift & Co. for more than 10 years and later was a secretary for Tektronix for 12 years and for Kurahashi and Associates She retired in 1997. She was a member of the church. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Julie of Portland, and son, Brian, both of Portland; and mother, Eva Troxel, and brother, Jim Troxel, both of Vancouver. Interment will be in Rose City Cemetery . The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society or the church. Arrangements are by Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home.
