Alvin "A.J." Mynar, of Buda, died peacefully on August 20, 2021 after a lengthy illness. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Alvin was born at home in Hill County on June 1, 1939 to Joe and Agnes (Snapka) Mynar, the second of eleven siblings. The family moved to Rhineland in 1943 and lived there until 1950 when they moved back and settled at Abbott.
