Bio
Donna C. Hodge passed away on January 9, 2016 at 4:08pm at her home with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was 89 years old, a resident of French Settlement, and a native of Deridder. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in French Settlement on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Visiting will resume at 10:00am until religious service at 12:00pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. The service will be conducted by Rev. Tommy Shipp. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy M. Hodge; and her son, Billy D. Hodge. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Duplessis & husband Brett, and Janice Lawless & husband, John; her sons, Roger Hodge & wife Cheri, David Hodge & wife Donna, Ricky Hodge & wife Janet, and Allen Hodge & wife Kellie; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and her companion puppy, C.C. She was a member of First Baptist Church in French Settlement. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeremiah Hodge, Daniel Lawless, Adam Lawless, Jordan Hodge, Dwayne Duplessis, Clint Duplessis and Chris Smythe.
