Bio
Betty Joann (Burden) Rose, was born to Everett and Mary (Daugherty) Burden on November 19, 1934 in Hartford, Kentucky and passed away in Sebring, Florida on October 8, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Mary (Daugherty) Burden, brothers William, Arvel, and Dewey, sisters, Thelma Abshire and Norma (Jean) Cain. Her loving husband of 49 years, Francis M. Rose and three children Fritz Rose, Teri (Rose) Ball, and Mary (Rose) Herron. She is survived by two daughters, B. Rose Crouch of Sebring, FL, Vicki Rose of Midway, IN, and one son, Bruce (Missy) Rose of Rockport, IN, two sisters, Pat (Roger) Atchison of Rockport, IN and Clydean (Danny) Gish of Sebring, FL 12 Grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and 4 Great-great-grandchildren. She graduated in 1951 from Rockport High School, and married F.M. Rose on June 6, 1952. She attended the Rockport Church of Nazarene and First Baptist Church of Sebring. She enjoyed attending church, traveling, and playing Bingo and she was a member of the Mid Valley Gospel singing group. Services are 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 with Pastor Brett Cieslack officiating. Burial is in Hackleman Cemetery in Chrisney, Indiana. Visitation is from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, October 17, 2022 and from 10 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
