Bio

Roscoe is the oldest son, of 13 children, born to John W. & Sadie Elmira Ferguson Patterson. He first married in Grand Island, Nebraska, on May 22, 1917, Alberta H. Knepper. (Nebraska, U.S., Select County Marriage Records, 1855-1908) They had four children, Stephene, Jeanne, John Irvine & Josephine. By April of 1930, Roscoe was living in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri (1930 United States Federal Census) and Alberta was living, with the children, in Los Angeles, San Gabriel, California. (1930 United States Federal Census) Sometime between April, 1930, Census date, and November 12, 1932, the birth of his son William, he married second (No documentation) Edna Ludington, who had three sons, Charles, James & Harry Miller, she and Roscoe had two more sons, William I. & Robert R.
