David R. Hargett, 68, passed away on October 7, 2022 in Gilchrest, Texas. He was born on August11, 1954 in Channelview, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Kathy Joann Hargett, his sister Sandra Hargett, and his brother Michael Hargett. David was a kind and generous man, as well as a talented guitar player. He was also a loyal friend. David loved the beach and spent his final moments enjoying golf cart rides and sunsets at Bolivar Peninsula. A graveside funeral will be held on Monday, October 17 at 11:00am at Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas.
