Suggested edit: Kathy Joann Keels Hargett Kathy Hargett May 8, 1935 - May 20, 2018 Kathy "Joan" Hargett, age 83, passed away on May 20th, 2018 at Tomball Regional Hospital after a short illness. Joan was born on May 8, 1935 in Lovelady, Texas to Robert Lorenzo Keels and Willie Bell Williamson Keels. She is survived by: her son David Hargett, granddaughters Laci Albanese, Amy Hargett, and Kari Sprague, grandson Jack Hargett, and great-grandchildren Caleb, Averie, Emily, and Anna. She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack Hargett, son Michael, and daughter Sandy. Joan is celebrated for her strength and beauty. She loved her family deeply and endured this life with such grace. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joan enjoyed being outdoors. She loved gardening and caring for her flowers. Later in life she enjoyed her daily walks through the yard. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.
