Husband of Emilie Ripper - married Sept. 15, 1909 in Columbus, Colorado Co., Texas Children of Frank and Emilie Knebel: Steve, Henry, Lillie, George, Frank (Butch), Benjamin, Edmund, and Dorothy Lillie Knebel, Born: 26 Sept. 1913 in Weimar, Colorado Co., Texas, Died: 17 Jun 1914 in Weimar, Colorado Co., Texas. Frank owned a "Beer Joint" in Dubina, Texas. Dubina derives it's name from the Czech word for Oak Grove. It was one of the first settlements in Texas to be founded entirely by Czech-Moravians, in 1856. The Texas Historical Society had placed a plaque in Dubina and it is about one quarter of a mile or less from Frank's place.
