Bio

John married Gertrude Maria Fort in about 1836. He lived in Columbia, Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1850 but had moved to Steuben County, New York by the time of the 1855 NY State Census. His occupation was "Lumber." Gertrude was listed as widowed in 1858, placing his death between 1855 and 1858. John and Gertrude had five daughters including Catherine Ann, Elizabeth (died young), Sarah G., Eugenia M., and Isabella.
