Vlasta Kopecky Domorad - Victoria Advocate, The - (Mar/16/2006) VLASTA K. DOMORAD March 16, 2006 BAY CITY - Vlasta Kopecky Domorad, 94, of Bay City, died Sunday, March 12, 2006. She was born Dec. 16, 1911, in Granger, to the late John Frank and Frantisky Woytek Kopecky. She was a Lutheran and a housewife. She was a member of the American Legion Post 0649 Auxiliary for 36 years and a member of SPJST. Survivors: daughter, Margaret Jurek of Markham; and two grandsons. Preceded in death by: husband, Anton R. Domorad ; sisters, Frances Malish, Tracy Baggett, Agens Boston and Lillian Flint; brothers, V.L. Kopecky, Joe Kopecky, John Kopecky and Charlie Kopecky. Graveside services were Tuesday, March 14, at Hawley Cemetery, the Honorable Ona Lee Pierce officiating. Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City, 979-245-4613. Pallbearers: Jimmy Henkes and sons, Louis Jurek, Jason Jurek.
