Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sun, 10 Jan 1988, page A2, Deaths, Ken R. Turman Ken. R. Turman, 57, of Greenville died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday in an Abilene hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. He was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Gober to Roy A. and Cressia Baker Turman. He married Billie Morgan Aug. 29, 1980, in Greenville. Mr. Turman was an Army veteran and a machinist for the Dallas Morning News. Surviving are his wife; parents; sons, Kenney L. Turman of Iowa Park and Stephen W. Turman of Rowlett; stepson, Howard Sullivan of DeKalb; daughter, Kathy Murrey of Greenville; stepdaughter, Angela Clay of Farmersville; brother, James Turman of Plano; sisters, Sybil Crimm of Farmersville and Reba Moore of Houston; and seven grandchildren. He died Thursday night in an Abilene hospital. Pallbearers will be Ralph Funderburk, Verble Dodd, Felix Drake, Marty Clay, M.G. Welsz, and Don Wild. Tim Murrey and Lanny Row will be honorary pallbearers. Memorial Garden (Section F) in Memoryland Memorial Park Cemetery.
