Columbus Telegram August 4, 1996 COLUMBUS - Dorothy A. Burmood, 64, of Duncan died Friday, Aug. 2, 1996, at Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan with Rev. James McCluskey officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery at Columbus. Visitation will be...at McKown Funeral Home... Mrs. Burmood was born on Jan. 21, 1932, in Columbus to Peter and Agnes (Staniec) Niedzwiecki. She married Russ Burmood on Oct. 16, 1978, in Las Vegas. She received her education at St. Stanislaus Catholic School and Duncan High School. She lived in Bellwood and in Duncan for the last five years. She was a homemaker and belonged to the VFW auxiliary and St. Ann's Sodality. She is survived by three sons, Eric Shemek of Duncan and Terry and David Shemek, both of Columbus; and one sister, Irene Konwinski of Columbus.
