Clifford "Elmo" Locklin - Son of Clifford Griffith "Cliff" Locklin and Willie Eugenia Long . Brother of Jackson Wyatt "Jack" and Allen Clement Locklin. Elmo married, Aug 22, 1933, Lorraine Wiseman. Father of Macky Gene Locklin. Locklin Services In Georgetown On Friday Services for Clifford E. Locklin, 87, Georgetown, brother of a Tyler resident, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home chapel, Georgetown, with Chaplain Rodney Kruse officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will be in Locklin Cemetery, Milam County. Mr. Locklin died Jan. 15 in Georgetown. He was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Davilla to the late Clifford and Eugenia Locklin. He lived in Georgetown for 30 years and owned his own art studio where he taught art for more than 10 years. He won many art awards from St. Edwards University in Austin. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, charter member of Williamson County Art Guild, member of Texas Watercolor Society and Master Mason of Lodge 1337 in Corpus Christi. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine W. Locklin, Georgetown; son, Macky Locklin, Corpus Christi; brothers, J.W. Locklin, Georgetown, and Allen C. Locklin, Tyler; and two grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Al Harris, Dalhart Windberg, C.E. Rousch and J.W. Ramey. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
