Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Eagle, 23 Sept 1993 Lola Lorene Garner Dec. 6, 1915-Sept. 21, 1993 Funeral services for Lola Lorene Garner, 77, of Nederland will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in Steep Hollow Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Garner died Tuesday morning in Mid Jefferson Hospital in Nederland area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deward Garner, in 1984. Survivors include a son, Don Garner of Nederland; four brothers, Oliver Biurns of DeRidder, La., Joe Burns of Groves and Howard Burns and Carl Burns, both of Nederland; two sisters, Mildred Lasyon of Nederland and Hulene Chezalier of Beaumont; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
