Bio

Lew Vincent Conder, age 69, of Point Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 10, 2016, at his home. Memorial services celebrating Lew's life will be held under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the First Christian Church in Terrell Texas. Lew was born on December 27, 1946 in Terrell. He is the son of the late Raymond and Mary Norton Conder. He was raised and attended school in Terrell. He worked for a pipeline company which allowed him to travel all over the US. For several years he owned and operated 'Phillips 66' gas station in Terrell. In 1980 he went to work for Rogers-O'Brien Construction Company in Dallas as a superintendent where he retired after 28 years of service. He later went to work for Jackson Construction in Quitman before retiring a second time in 2014. Lew married Susan Campbell on January 12, 1985 where they built their home in Point Texas. He belonged to many organizations including Texas Trails Bassmaster's where he was a former President, Wish-to-Fish Foundation and Kid Fish, which is a children's fishing organization. In Lew's younger years he coached and played baseball. He was also a scout master for Troop 390 where he mentored youth in Terrell. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, antiquing and had the gift to paint. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Nascar. He is loved and will be missed by his wife Susan Conder of Point; daughters Beth Conder Clinger of Phoenix, Arizona, Tracy Conder of Terrell; sons Ryan Conder of Terrell, Donald Sealy and wife Julie of Silsbee, Scott Sealy and wife April of Joshua; grandchildren Grant Clinger, Trae Hubbard, Cortney Hubbard, Tori Hubbard, Katie Coleman, Hayden Sealy, Elan Sealy; great grandchildren Reece Martin, Lane Sealy, Zoe Coleman; sisters Kathy Cook and husband Bill of Terrell, and Saundra Wnorowski and husband Fred of Terrell.
