Funeral services for Frankie Jo Selman, 57, of Huntington will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Tony Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Selman/Roark Cemetery in the Linwood Community near Alto. Mrs. Selman was born June 17, 1948 in Terrell, Texas, to the late Vena (Wyech) and Frank Cernoch and passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005 in a local hospital. Mrs. Selman had resided in Huntington for the past 25 years. She was an Insurance Consultant for Davis Insurance. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to church, and camping. Mrs. Selman was a member of the New Life Worship Center. Survivors include her husband, Tommie Selman of Huntington; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Patricia Selman of Terrell and Jason and Pamela Selman of Huntington; grandsons, Jacob Selman and Kaleb Selman, both of Huntington; and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Tommy "Diller" Selman, Steve Selman, Ricky Selman, Shannon Selman, Randy Selman, Gordon Langston, Graham Heflin and Dwayne Reece. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Emil Cernoch. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
