DEATH CLAIMS AN ESTIMABLE MAN In the passing of Perry Asay from this life on Tuesday, June 13, at Salt Lake, Monroe lost one of the most highly respected citizens of the community. Perry was known throughout the valley and all knew him to be of a happy, contented disposition. He has suffered about three months with what the doctors pronounced ulcers of the stomach. He was taken to the L.D.S. hospital six weks ago for five weeks battled bravely for life but it was not to be and death claimed him and left many relatives and friends to mourn his demise. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lydia Asay, one son, Dolph, age 15, and two daughters, Klella, age 12, and Maxine , age 5. He also leaves a father, Eleazer Asay of Lovell, Wyo., his mother, Mrs Nettie Asay of Monroe, three brothers, Aaron of Lovell, Wyo., and Eleazer and Ernest of Arco, Idaho, and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Julander of Monroe, Mrs. Edith Mezzerly of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Emma Goold of Monroe. Perry was born about 37 years ago and he has lived in Monroe practically all his life. He married Miss Lydia Fontin of Elsinore about seventeen years ago and had alway been a devoted husband and father.
