Pneumonia Proves Fatel to a Monroe High School Girl The community of Monroe was shocked and grieved to learn of the death of Miss Maxine Asay, daughter of Mrs. Guy Jensen, who succumbed to pneumonia Monday afternoon, following several days illness. Maxine was born at Monroe September 4, 1917, a daughter of Perry and Lydia Asay. She was a junior in the South Sevier high school and a Junior girls of the M.I.A. She had a sunny disposition, and will be greatly missed by her family, her classmates and friends. She is survived by her mother and step-father; one brother, Dolph Asay, who is with the C.C.C. at Salt Lake; one sister, Miss Clela Asay of Salt Lake; a grandmother, Mrs. Nettie Asay of Monroe, and several step brothers and sisters.
