Dorothy Nulph Urmson, 78, of 409 Scotch Hill Drive, Leeper, died Monday, Oct 8, 2007, in Jefferson Manor in Brookville. Born June 3, 1929, in Scotch Hill, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Clara Simpson Nulph. She was a 1948 graduate of Farmington Township High School in Leeper and graduated in 1952 from Warren Business College. Mrs. Urmson started in September 1952 as head payroll clerk at what is now Clarion University and retired there in August 1985. She was a member of the Scotch Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Nulph, Oct. 24, 1982; her mother, Clara Nulph, Sept. 23, 1984; one brother, Leigh Nulph, Feb. 9, 1984; and one niece. Memorials may be made to the Scotch Hill United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. J. Mark Hurst officiating. Interment will be in the Scotch Hill Cemetery.
