Bio
John D. Bybee, 72, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with the Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East. Mr. Bybee served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked as a welder for many years. Survivors include three brothers, Elton Bybee, Sam Bybee and Billy Bybee, all of Amarillo; and two sisters, Mildred Jackson of Childress and Betty Foster of Amarillo.
