Mary Pauline Piper Garretson passed away 29 April 2005. Pauline was born 11 April 1910 in Lampasas, Texas to James Virgil and Minnie Rebecca White Piper. The family eventually had 6 children including Pauline. Pauline married Theodore Eldred Garretson on 30 May 1935 at Proctor, Texas. Theodore preceded her in death on 12 November 1992. Theodore and Pauline were school teachers and taught school in several locations in Oklahoma during their teaching careers. Pauline earned a masters degree in education from the University of Oklahoma. Pauline's last teaching activity was in the Nicoma Park school system. After retirement from teaching, Pauline became a full time real estate sales person, and later obtained her broker's license. Her health forced retirement from real estate activity in October 1999. Pauline is survived by a son, Teddy D. Garretson who currently resides in Estill Springs, Tennessee; a brother, William L. Piper, and wife Wanda of Salado, Texas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Faye Piper, of Houston, Texas; and a large group of nieces and nephews. Pauline was a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Midwest City, OK where she was a member of the choir, and taught Sunday school. Services will be 10:00 am on May 3rd, 2005, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 9805 N.E. 10th, Midwest City, OK, with graveside services at 2:00 pm at Fairlawn Cemetery (old highway 81) in Comanche, OK.
